IMPORTANT: Apparently Leviton has the same part number on two different style switches that look the same. Please make sure this is the correct switch for your application. This is a momentary contact fluorescent starter exciter switch. It is designed to push in to excite the starter then release. It is a momentary contact switch NOT a maintained on/off switch.

Momentary means that this switch is spring loaded and releases when you let go of it. It is for a specific application. If your switch clicks when pushed and stays on, then clicks again when you turn it off, this IS NOT the right switch for you EVEN IF the part number is the same. 

If you are unsure, please contact us BEFORE buying as we WILL NOT accept any returns or offer any refunds if you purchase this switch, install it then try to return it after you've used and damaged it.
